This week, we’re highlighting the wide range of support and guidance available to each of our students from Healthy Âéw¶¹´«Ã½.
Our Healthy Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ Hub provides all students with hints and tips about staying well mentally and physically, alongside access to masterclasses, advice on support packages such as the Disabled Student's Allowance (DSA) and Single Point of Access (SPA) appointments (private, 45-minute appointments to discuss your situation with a member of support staff).
University, especially in the current climate, can be a busy, stressful time, so we want to make sure that you have all of the tools needed to make your experience positive, fun and enjoyable.

Healthy Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ is here for whatever you may need. For example, did you know that during lockdown when students told us that they were struggling to make connections, Healthy Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ launched a series of online masterclasses called ‘Positive Mindsets’ so that students could learn ways to get involved and connect with others at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½?
Taking time for yourself and practising self-care is one of the most important and beneficial elements of keeping yourself physically and mentally healthy, and the Healthy Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ Hub has plenty of resources to support you with this.
Taking care of your physical health is also vital, and can help you feel positive, motivated and enhance your mental wellbeing. There are a number of ways to get active, no matter what your current fitness level may be. Take a look at this page of activities to kickstart your wellbeing journey today.
You can find out more by visiting the Healthy Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ Hub, or by following Healthy Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ on and .
If you’ve been helped by Healthy Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ during your time here, we’d love to hear about it – feel free to tweet, post or message us, using #HealthyÂéw¶¹´«Ã½ and tagging (Twitter) or (Instagram).
