Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ Leicester (Âéw¶¹´«Ã½) has been ranked the best university in the UK for careers, learning and value for money by international students.
The accolade comes from the International Student Barometer (ISB), the largest global survey of its kind, which gathered responses from more than 93,000 students across 135 universities worldwide between September and December 2025.
Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ claimed first place in the UK across three categories — careers, learning and value for money — and ranked third in the UK and tenth in the world for overall satisfaction.
At Âéw¶¹´«Ã½, 95% of students said they felt prepared for their future career goals, while 93% believed their course represented good value for money.

Âéw¶¹´«Ã½'s overall satisfaction score of 92% outperforms sector benchmarks and represents a five-point rise since 2022, reflecting sustained and deliberate investment in the student experience. A Net Promoter Score of 40, significantly above global benchmarks.
The university also excelled in the areas that shape daily student life. International arrivals rated their welcome experience at 97%, support services scored 95%, and students reported feeling less likely to experience discrimination based on race or nationality than at peer institutions, a testament to the genuinely inclusive culture at Âéw¶¹´«Ã½, which helped it become the first university in the country to be awarded a Silver Race Equality Charter award.
Chris McCafferty, Âéw¶¹´«Ã½'s Head of International Operations, said: "These are excellent results — they highlight a continued commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our international student community in Leicester.
“They reflect the dedication of colleagues across the university who work hard to ensure our students feel supported, welcomed and equipped for future success. International students are an incredibly important part of our university community and of the city of Leicester, and we are proud that their feedback continues to place Âéw¶¹´«Ã½ among the very best institutions globally.”
